Community Animal Clinic strives to provide the most comprehensive and high quality pet health care in the East Liverpool area. 
Our four veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.

Michael Sandy, DVM

Michael Sandy, DVM

Dr. Sandy graduated from Fairmont State College with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 1994. He then went on to the University of Georgia where he obtained his DVM in 2000. He became owner of Community Animal Clinic in 2005. He is married to the co-owner of Community Animal Clinic, Dr. Jennifer Sandy and has three children, Jessica, Jennifer and Michael. He has four pets; 1 dog (Hank) and 3 cats (TK, Tom, and Roger). When he is not working, he enjoys bicycling and football. Go Dawgs!! 
Special interests: soft tissue surgery.
Jennifer Sandy, DVM

Jennifer Sandy, DVM

Dr. Sandy graduated from Fairmont State College in 1993 with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology. She then graduated from the University of Georgia with a DVM in 1999. She became co-owner of Community Animal Clinic in 2005. In her free time she enjoys being a mom, bicycling and cooking.
Special interests: exotic animal medicine and public health
Ashley Veine-Smith, DVM

Ashley Veine-Smith, DVM

Dr. Veine received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Northern Michigan University in 2000. She then obtained a Master’s Degree in Biology, Emphasis in Parasitology from Northern Michigan University in 2003. She received her DVM from Iowa State in 2007. She is married to Jeremy Smith and has a son, Paxton, and a daughter, Quinn. She has a quarter horse, Bailey and a miniature horse, Ruthie, and shares her house with 2 dogs, Sebastian and Shelby and 3 cats, Zoe, Ember and Timber. Her hobbies include horseback riding, gardening and reading.

Deb is a 1967 graduate of Beaver Local High School. She started at Community Animal Clinic that same year. She is married to Richard and has 2 children, Melissa and Matthew and six grandchildren. She has one dog, Moxie, a rat terrier. Her hobbies include spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
Joni Bodell, RVT

Joni Bodell, RVT

Joni received her Associates Degree in Animal Health Technology in 1982. She started at Community Animal Clinic in 1983. She has one daughter, Kaitlin, and one son, Ethan. She has 3 cats (Syd, Umma Gumma, and Earl Pikachu) and 2 dogs, Lucy & Tubby. Her hobbies include fishing, gardening, travel and the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Richie started at Community Animal Clinic in November 1994. He is married and has one dog at home, Candy. His hobbies include golf, fishing, bowling, karate and more. His special interest is working with animals.
Tori Hoon, RVT

Tori Hoon, RVT

Tori obtained her Associates Degree in Animal Health Technology in October 2004. She started at Community Animal Clinic in December of 2004. She graduated from Beaver Local High School in 2002. She is married to Shawn and has two sons, Brody and Broc. She has 3 dogs, Hyde, Mongo & Tippy and 1 cat, Sophia. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, and watching her sons race quads.
Beth FultonBeth Fulton, CVT (Receptionist)

Beth Fulton, CVT 
Receptionist 

Beth received her Associates Degree in Animal Health Technology in 1989. She has worked in the veterinary field in many different capacities for over 20 years. She began at Community Animal Clinic in August, 2013. She is married and has 3 children. Beth currently shares her home with a variety of “critters” including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. Her hobbies include motorcycling, music, physical fitness, reading, and watching her twin sons sporting events. Her special interests are exotics and wildlife.
Amanda Corbin, RVT

Amanda Corbin, RVT 

Amanda obtained her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in June, 2004 and was a graduate of Western Beaver High School in 2002. She started working at Community Animal Clinic in March, 2015. She has one son, Hunter. She has two cats, Parker and Dude. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and doing anything outdoors.
Stephanie Voght, RVT

Stephanie Voght, RVT

Stephanie graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in December, 2006, and became a licensed veterinary technician in August , 2011.She started working at Community Animal Clinic in February , 2016. She spends most of her time with her sons, Jabrien and Haven, and their dogs, Emma and Riley. She loves the outdoors, four wheeling, kayaking, and hiking. Dancing is also one of her biggest passions.
Sarah Bane, RVT

Sarah Bane
Veterinary Assistant

Sarah obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Ross College (formerly Brown Mackie) in July 2017 and joined Community Animal Clinic in October 2017. She has three cats; Angel, Miss Kitty, and Simba. She loves country music, Brantley Gilbert the most, spending time outside and spending time with her family.
